Why does an oncoplastic approach matter?
Oncoplastic surgery combines oncological safety with an aesthetic result. The goal is not only to eliminate the disease, but also to preserve a woman's bodily integrity and self-confidence. In many cases, treatment is possible without losing the entire breast.
When it is indicated
- Early and locally confined stages of breast cancer
- Cases where breast-conserving surgery is planned
- Need for reconstruction after mastectomy
- Deformities following previous surgery
- Correction of asymmetry
Our approach
An individual plan is developed for each patient, taking into account examination results, the size and location of the tumor, and the shape of the breast.
During surgery, the tumor is removed with safe margins and the remaining tissue is reshaped using modern techniques. When necessary, symmetry of the opposite breast is also achieved.
Benefits
- Oncological safety and aesthetic results combined
- The natural shape of the breast is preserved
- Reduced need for additional surgery
- Smoother psychological recovery
